The Journey Of Daniel Wares. 1550-1846


Although the title of this web-site refers to ‘H&R Daniel porcelain’ it should nevertheless be remembered that the Daniel family began producing simple earthenware pottery at least as far back as c.1550, which culminated almost 300 years later when Henry and Richard Daniel were producing porcelain in the years between 1822 to 1846 that was by then generally considered to be amongst the finest in design, decoration and quality ever to leave the Staffordshire Potteries.
