CUPS AND SAUCERS

WELLINGTON SHAPE

MOTH HANDLED CUP

After visiting Michael Berthoud I was privilaged enough to be allowed to photograph this piece. I have included this Butterfly handled cup although it does not fall into the usual Daniel range. This is a rare item produced by the factory probably at the time when Henry was starting production in his own right. This item is marked Daniel on the base but the saucer is marked Spode. An interesting and academically important piece.

A QUINTET OF CUPS & SAUCERS FOR SERIOUS QUAFFING

(PLUS THE MATCHING TEAPOT)

Cups and saucers by Henry & Richard Daniel are highly prized by collectors of fine porcelain, so how about this matching five piece collection of beautifully decorated and gadrooned, tea, coffee and breakfast cups with saucers? (And lets not forget the superb teapot, making the group a sextet???)
